After leaving my job as a secretary, I wanted to give back to the community by volunteering my time and services. In February 2013, I signed up as a volunteer when I read an article in the papers about RHMC Singapore. I have had absolutely no regrets joining as a volunteer and feel so blessed to work with a great team – Judy, Nonie and Leonard and the other volunteers. Without this dedicated team, RMHC Singapore would not be what it is today – providing weekly meals, tea breaks and working on the new Ronald McDonald Family Room that will soon open. It brings me great joy when families share their appreciation and are so thankful for the facilities RMHC Singapore has provided during their trying times.
