Welcome to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Singapore
We are a children's charity that is a part of a global network of over 260 chapters in 62 countries and regions that provide support, relief and compassionate care to families caring for their sick children. We believe in keeping families close, which is why we give hospitalised children the best gift of all - their families, where Mum and Dad can just be around the corner.
We feel that love and support from one's family is as powerful as the
strongest medicine prescribed. Families are stronger
when they are together.

Heartfelt SG Stories
Keeping Families Close
"I would like to sincerely thank you for all your love, help, kindness and generosity for accommodating me at Ronald McDonald House. It wasn’t an easy journey but you were willing to ride through it with me and my family. Thank you for your thoughts and listening ear whom made me feel that I have family supporting me. "

"My baby daughter, Alexis, was born premature, and admitted to NUH’s Newborn ICU in February 2020. She was later transferred to the Paediatric ICU. The night before Alexis’ tracheostomy surgery, we stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. We were grateful to be able to stay with her at the hospital and comfort her at night and early in the morning before the surgery. It was a challenging time for us. "
Yih Chwin and Justin
"Our baby Daniel was warded in the Paediatric ICU (PICU) after a heart surgery to correct a congenital heart condition. The support we received from RMHC Singapore made this difficult period much more bearable and enabled us to focus on caring for our little one without worry. RMHC provided us with a room next to PICU so we could see our little one anytime in the day while catching enough rest. "
Priscilla Wong
"Mikayla was only 3 weeks old when she was transferred to the Paediatric ICU for her first open heart surgery. There were other complications, and the recovery process took longer than expected. Nevertheless, we were grateful that we were offered a room at the Ronald McDonald House. "
Someudee Abdul Kadir
"Sherelle was diagnosed with an auto-immune encephalitis, a newly known life-threatening disease. It became the worst nightmare of our lives and we were engulfed in stress, anxiety, sadness and fatigue. Thus, our doctor referred us to RMHC Singapore. We were invited to use the Ronald McDonald Family Room, and later to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. As both facilities were situated near the PICU, we were able to be near Sherelle during her time at the hospital. "
Hendra Ng
"We are thankful that RMHC Singapore provided us with a wonderful and homely space to lift us up, when we were feeling down. We were also greatly appreciative of the kindness RMHC offered during our stay with them. The staff even surprised me with a Fathers’ Day card! "
Lyu Zhiyang
"We came across RMHC Singapore when our son was admitted to NUH Paediatric ICU and were pleasantly surprised with the facilities provided. With the Ronald McDonald Family Room and House, parents with kids at NUH Ward 46 have a conducive environment to rest and recharge. Also, the staff are ever-friendly and very helpful. We would like to commend RMHC Singapore for the work they have been doing. Thank you RMHC Singapore! "
